With over a decade of experience, I’ve delivered writing  and professional development workshops and talks in a wide range of settings—from classrooms and libraries to NHS wellbeing programmes and creative writing groups. Whether participants are seasoned writers or just starting out, my workshops offer space for creative exploration, self-expression, and reflection. I’m especially passionate about using writing as a tool for self-care and mental health. I’ve worked with students, professionals, and community groups to support their journeys through words.

As the founder of REWRITE, a creative writing organisation for Black women and women of colour, I’ve mentored dozens of emerging writers, many of whom have gone on to secure publishing deals, win awards, and see their work published across major platforms. My approach centres care, confidence-building, and craft—and I bring that ethos into every workshop, talk, and event I lead.

Author Talks

As the author of Where You Go I Will Go, I offer engaging talks for audiences of all sizes—from intimate book club gatherings to large-scale literary festivals, universities, and community events. My sessions are thoughtful, dynamic, and rooted in real experience, weaving together craft, identity, and the emotional landscape of writing and publishing.

I speak openly about the journey to publication, the creative process, and the themes explored in my novel, such as mother-daughter relationships, migration, love, loss, queerness, and what it means to find home when you live between cultures.

Let’s talk books, craft, and everything in between!
