Christina Fonthes is a Congolese-British writer. Her work, laden with themes of womanhood, migration, and belonging, has been widely published in journals and anthologies worldwide. Christina found her writing voice in 2014 whilst living in Manchester, where she fell in love with and began writing and performing poetry. Her mantra, ‘Telling stories through any means possible,’ allows her to bring untold stories to life through writing and community engagement. Christina is the founder of REWRITE, a creative writing organisation for Black Women and Women of Colour writers around the globe. She currently lives in London. She is represented by Rocking Chair Books.
